Male puppy born Feb. 10, 2012–One dog for the duck and pheasant hunter!! Ready to go to his new adoptive home. This puppy is a selective breeding of our best male and female hunting dogs on our guided hunting farm. Video available upon request to see Lil’ Buddy starting his retrieving skills.

The sire of this puppy is Buddy an AKC Black Lab that loves to retrieve anything–ducks, pheasants, frisbees or pop bottles–as long as it flies he loves to retrieve. He is a very hard working Lab–up at sunrise for duck hunting and then hunts wild pheasants in tough conditions all day until the sun sets. He helps to guide hunters all day thru hunting season, and the rest of the year he is a loveable great family dog.

The dam of the litter is Brandi an AKC German Shorthaired Pointer, with a fun loving family type personality, she adds a great nose to point the pheasants, and then find and retrieve the downed pheasants. She is the “most requested” to hunt with from our return hunters, together Buddy and Brandi are a awesome pair to hunt with, and the puppies seem to be following in their footsteps with their hunting instincts.

This breeding is not an accident–all of our dogs on our guided hunting farm are GSP/Lab mix except our males and our two new GSP females. This mix is what works best for us in tall, grassy, tough conditions and brings our hunters back year after year for a good hunt.

6 week old German Shorthair Puppies for sale. 2 females and 2 males that needs to find a good hunting family’s home. They will be ready to take home May 10th at 8 weeks old. They will have all their shots, wormer, and AKC papers for each pup to take with you. $400 for male or female. I am located in Dayton, MN for those that would like to take a look at them.
